Denver actor and director Dan Hiester portraying Lincoln

This portrayal of the Lincoln-Douglas debates of 1858 was one of the most popular Fall of 2008 events on campus.
A preliminary lecture was given by Gillian Silverman. A fiery Lincoln was portrayed by well-known local Thespian Dan Hiester.
Stephan Hartnett adopted with theatrical zest the role of a belligerant Douglas. Hartnett and Silverman are UCD professors.
